KARACHI, Aug 5: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) notified that it had received around 2,500 complaints pertaining to the errors in the SSC-II (Science) results.

“We have received complaints of around 2,500 candidates about errors showing them absent in papers which they had attended and have rectified all the results,” Bizaatullah Khan, the BSEK examination controller told Dawn.

He said that the quantity of errors in the results was much less than what was recorded last year but it was the first time that they were highlighted in the media so forcefully. “The board had received more than 5,000 complaints of similar nature last year,” said Mr Khan.

The marks sheets of the candidates would be completed by mid of this month.
