Call to reserve land for grazing

MITHI, March 10: The Mithi Taluka Council through a resolution demanded of the authorities concerned to reserve the government land in the surrounding of various villages as Gaucher (grazing pastures) which was unlawfully cultivated by the locals.

The council demanded that a survey of the one-year agreement of the land should be conducted, and it should be allotted to genuine cultivators, on the basis of occupation and malkana.

The meeting of the council was held here on Thursday and Friday under the convenership of Naib Nazim Kanjimal Rathore.

Another resolution which demanded that the teams of veterinary department should be sent to the Kehri Union Council and other areas, for vaccination of livestock against contagious diseases was also passed.

The council demanded to sanction wells for Sameja chumpni (Meghwar Para), Phataro, Morantli, Jarunbhri, Golio, Sujaveri, Dhabo Nijar, Manjhthi, Akab Junejo, Bapuhar, Surejo Taar, Baanbhinio Bheel, Pato Bheel, Malhe-Jo-Taar, Sirajdin, Arnario and Bhojo Bhil.

The resolution which demanded to sanction and install hand pumps in village Katan and Arpla was passed.
