LAHORE, July 27: The record of four medical and health institutions is being computerised at a cost of Rs353 million. Punjab Information Technology Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said on Friday.
He said Rs180 million had been allocated to computerise the record of the King Edward Medical University (KEMU) and its attached hospital, Rs45 million for the Service Hospital’s record, Rs100 million for the Allama Iqbal Medical College’s record and Rs28 million for the Multan Institute of Cardiology’s record.
A KEMU spokesman said the chief minister had approved the record computerisation project and funds for the purpose would be released next month.
