PESHAWAR, July 19: The establishment of a construction material training institute in the NWFP is being delayed because of the provincial government’s failure to provide land for the project to be funded by the centre. The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) had approved the project costing over Rs500 million in a recent meeting, official sources told APP here on Thursday. Ecnec, on the recommendation of the communications ministry, approved setting up of the projects in all the provinces to produce skilled labour force.
The construction work of the institutes has begun in the other three provinces.—APP
