ISLAMABAD, July 17: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has urged members of the PBC and bar councils not to attend any government function or meet any government representative.

At a PBC meeting on Tuesday, a unanimously adopted resolution asked the bar members, especially the office-bearers, to decline any government invitation for attending official functions in the larger interest of the ongoing lawyers’ movement.

The meeting was presided over by PCB vice-chairman Mirza Aziz Akbar Baig.
