VEHARI, July 16: A taxi driver was killed on offering resistance here on Monday at Pakhi Mor Stop in Machiwal police precincts.

Some people hired a taxi from Pakhi Mor Stop. Near Chak No 573-EB, they asked driver Muhammad Boota to stop the vehicle. On offering resistance, they opened fire, killing him on the spot. — Correspondent
