GENEVA, July 6: Switzerland’s unemployment rate hit its lowest level for five years in June, at just 2.5 per cent, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) said on Friday.

The number of people registered as without work fell by around 18.8 per cent from the same month a year earlier, to 99,781 — the lowest level since August 2002.
