LAKKI MARWAT, July 5: An eight-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a man in Mela Mandrakhel area here on Thursday. Police registered a case against the accused under section 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The victim’s father said the boy had gone with a friend to a nearby field for playing. He alleged that the accused, Imdadullah, forcibly took away the child and assaulted him.

The boy was admitted to a local hospital.
