FAISALABAD, June 30: Scientists and employees of the Ayub Agriculture Research Institute (AARI) observed a boycott of four hours on Saturday in protest against the privatization of the institute.

They came out of their offices to oppose the privatization of five major departments — Cotton, Sugarcane, Rice, Mango Research Station of Shujaabad and Citrus Research Station, Sargodha.

Addressing the participants, protest leaders said the privatization of five major departments of the institute would ruin the career of its employees.
