DHAKA, March 4: The Bangladeshi government has described the communal violence in India, which has killed nearly 550 people, as a “slur on humanity.”
“The cruel incidents that took place in India, leading to a huge loss of life and damage to properties, have cast a slur on humanity and are condemnable,”BD finance minister Saifur Rahman told parliament on Sunday.
He called upon the Indian authorities to ensure safety and security of the people and their property, “irrespective of caste and creed”.—APP
