RAWALPINDI, Oct 6: District Nazim Raja Tariq Kiani on Saturday directed the Adiyala Jail officials to make arrangements for imparting religious education to under-trial child-prisoners.

During his visit to the jail, the Nazim said religious education would help the children become good citizens of the country.

He also issued a direction for sending two under-trial children to the hospital.

Mr Kiani directed that cleanliness be ensured in the jail and hospital premises.—Reporter
