PESHAWAR, June 9: A two-day free medical camp was set up in Kalakhel in the Khyber Agency.
A press release issued here on Saturday said the directorate of health (Fata) was taking steps to provide health facilities to tribal people under the orders of Governor Ali Mohammad Jan Aurakzai.
It said free medical camps were being regularly organised in various remote tribal areas to provide free treatment and medicines.
Doctors and paramedics examined and treated 2,144 patients, including 487 children, according to a handout.—APP
