NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 7: Sehra minor developed a 25 foot wide breach inundating standing crops of henna, cotton and hay on 50 acres near Banho Teewno village here on Thursday morning.

The villagers with the help of personnel of irrigation department managed to plug the breach after five hours’ hectic efforts.

The cause of the breach could not be ascertained but the villagers accused irrigation staff of negligence, which they said led to the breach.
