SIALKOT, May 31: A fire erupted at sports godowns in Uggoki on main Sialkot-Sambrial Road here on Thursday, reducing to ashes goods, raw material and chemicals worth Rs10 million.

Reports said the blaze broke out at factory godowns of leading exporter Zain Ali Shabbir due to a short circuit.

Factory employees and fire brigade staff controlled the blaze after two-hour efforts.

No injuries were reported.
