ISLAMABAD, March 1: The former NWFP minister, Naqibullah who is allegedly involved in several cases of car-lifting and re-selling the vehicles after tempering their registration and chassis numbers, was sent to judicial lock-up at Adiyala Jail on Friday.
Judicial Magistrate Mumtaz Hussain passed this order when the accused was produced before him.
At the time of his appearance in the court, the former minister was guarded by a heavy contingent of police while a big number of his supporters were also there.
The accused was reportedly caught when he himself was driving a stolen vehicle.
The prosecution said it had recovered some four stolen vehicles from his possession.
