KARACHI, May 24: Mohammad Shafique has been elected unopposed as member of the senate of the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, under the registered graduates category.

A notification to this effect has been issued by the registrar of the institution on Thursday.

The election was conducted in pursuance of Section 13(1)(X) of the NED University Act for the period of three years with effect from May 23.—APP
