MULTAN, May 22: A workshop titled “The growing political and religious intolerance in society” was organised by Journalists Help Forum here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, former National Assembly speaker Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said: “We cannot ignore the role of educational institutes for intolerance in society and it is necessary that our judiciary should be free because without a free and independent judiciary tolerance is impossible.”

Kafeel Bokhari said the behaviour of not accepting the people who have roots in masses, was one of the reasons for violence in society and because of it East Pakistan became Bangladesh.
