KARACHI, May 18: Head of the Binnoria University International Mufti Mohammad Naeem has urged ulema belonging to all schools of thought to play a constructive role in restoring peace and harmony in the city.

In a statement issued on Friday, he offered mediation to defuse the tension, created by the May 12 events.

Mufti Naeem has also faxed a letter to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain, urging him to redouble his efforts towards peace.—PPI
