HYDERABAD, April 27: A newly married woman, Gulnaz, resident of Tando Yousuf, Hyderabad, has appealed to the authorities to protect her, her husband and in-laws.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday she said that as she had married Mohammad Nawaz Shaikh of her own will, she feared reprisal from her family. She said that being an adult of 22 years old, she had exercised her right.
