LAHORE, April 24: Police arrested on Tuesday five ‘Islamic messengers’ in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry branch for quarrelling with security personnel.

Police said the five people entered the court premises and asked for judges’ chambers from security and special branch officials. When inquired, they told the personnel that they wanted to deliver a message something related to Islam to the judges.

When the officials stopped them from meeting the judges, they started quarrelling with them.

Police were called in, who took the five men into custody. The arrested men included Waris Ali, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Javed, Ghulam Husain and Shahzad Husain.
