LAHORE, April 18: The nine-month-old son of a man died after administration of a spurious injection by a doctor in North Cantonment on Wednesday. Police said Nadeem Masih, of R A Bazaar, had taken his son Kain to the clinic of Dr Afzal Hayat in the area. The doctor gave him an injection which resulted in instant death of the baby.

The police arrested the doctor and registered a case against him.
