SWABI, April 18: Former provincial minister Shamsul Mulk has been elected president of the Society for Promotion of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Pakistan (Soprest).

He has succeeded the late President Ghulam Ishaq Khan, who was the lifetime head of SOPREST, said a GIK Institute press release issued here on Wednesday.
