KARACHI, April 13: Five villages of Tharparkar district, including Salani, Edani, Dhori Kalario, Haji Rahim Rahimoon and Sundani of taluka Chachro, district Tharparkar. These villages were electrified due to the initiative taken by the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee for Population Welfare, MNA Gul-e-Farkhanda, who spent her funds on the scheme for the Thari villagers.

Talking on the occasion, she said that prosperity and development has become fate of people of Tharparkar. She said that to draw outlines for any action is the task of intellectuals and social workers, but to fill it with colours is not possible without a sincere leadership which has been provided by President Musharraf.

She appreciated the cooperation of Hesco which made the electrification of backward villages of the district possible.-- APP
