KARACHI, April 13: Various individuals and organisations representing civil society in the country will attend a rally against religious extremism being organized by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) on Sunday.
Asma Jahangir, Chairperson and Iqbal Haider, Secretary General of the HRCP, would lead the rally, which is scheduled to begin from Gurumandir at 2pm and terminate at Tibet Centre, said an HRCP spokesperson.
The spokesperson said the protest was targeted against the recent incidents of religious extremism in Islamabad.—Staff Reporter
