TOBA TEK SINGH, April 12: Internet users have criticised the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited for not removing connectivity troubles they have been facing for the last many days.
College students, account holders of various commercial banks, computer training centre and internet cafe owners claim that they are facing continuous hardships in connecting the internet and facing financial losses.
The Wednesday last was the most testing day for the business centres and personal computer users who claimed that connectivity problems remained throughout the day.
A PTCL official told Dawn on the request of anonymity that the company owed hundreds of thousands of rupees as fuel charges to a local diesel provider for the electric generator of the main city exchange. Now the filling station owner had stopped supplying fuel to the exchange which was causing electricity problems.
As soon as the outstanding bills were cleared by the PTCL Faisalabad region authorities, the diesel supply would be restored and there would be no problem of internet disconnections.
