MQM workers murder: case registered

HYDERABAD, April 11: The Sakhi Pir police have lodged the double murder case of two MQM-Afaq activists on the complaint of father and uncle of the deceased on Wednesday night against four activists of MQM-Amir Khan group.

According to senior investigating officer Phulelli police, Asad Qadri, the case was lodged on the compliant of Intikhab Ahmed, father of Ashfaq Ahmed and paternal uncle of Sadaqat Hussain, vide FIR no 21/07 under sections 302, 34 and 109 PPC.

One Saeed Ansari of MQM-Amir Khan-group was nominated while four accused remained unidentified .

The complainant said that deceased were murdered at the instance of Saeed Ansari because he had threatened his son to dissociate from Afaq Ahmed following a split in Mohajir Qaumi Movement last month.

Ashfaq and Sadaqat were gunned down in target killing on Sunday night in the jurisdiction of Sakhi Pir police station after they were intercepted by unidentified persons.
