HYDERABAD, April 11: Sindh Minister for Women Development Dr Saeeda Malik said on Wednesday that her ministry had planned to establish working women’s hostels in the main cities of the province.
Speaking to a group of journalists after attending a one-day seminar on “Women and Poverty” at Sindh Museum jointly organised by media cell of the Directorate of Women Development and Sindh Development Society, the minister said that the ministry was considering various proposals for women's welfare to be included in the forthcoming budget and one of the proposal pertained to the establishment of working women hostels.
She said that after Karachi women centres would also be established in Hyderabad and Sukkur for the rehabilitation of women in distress.
