GEORGETOWN, April 9: New Zealand beat Ireland by 129 runs in their World Cup Super Eight match on Monday.

Scores: New Zealand 263 for 8; Ireland 134 (37.4 overs).

Peter Fulton made 83, McCullum 47 and James Franklin 34 not out to help the Kiwis to a decent total. The Black Caps are unbeaten at the World Cup so far after five matches.—AFP
