JACOBABAD, April 5: Hindu community continued their rally on Thursday against the kidnapping of Omparkash and the protesters observed a token hunger strike for two hours. The rally participants staged a sit-in outside the residence of minister of state Abdul Razzaq Thaheem and later, they went to the press club.

Ramchand Chawla, Chairman Hindu General Panchayat said 24 days had passed since the boy was kidnapped. It had created insecurity among Hindu community, he said.

Ahmed Ali Brohi said the Citizen Action Committee would decide about the shutter-down strike.

Meanwhile, the DIG Larkana division, Akhtar Hussain Gorchani met the relatives of Omparkash and assured them of recovering the boy at the earliest.
