HYDERABAD, March 31: The Chairman of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Bashir Khan Qureshi, accused MQM chief Altaf Hussain of compromising on issues of Sindh which is reflective from his party's policies leading to sale of islands in Sindh and closure of doors of employment on Sindhi speaking people in multi-national companies.
He, however, urged the MQM chief to join hands with him to rid Sindh from slavery of Punjab. He was addressing the Paigham-i-Sindh caravan, which resumed its journey after visiting Dargah Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai on Saturday.
On their way to Hyderabad the participants of caravan were accorded warm welcome in Khyber, Khando, Sekhat and Bahu Dero.
He also spoke to journalists in Bhitshah before leaving for Hyderabad after meeting Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Syed Nisar Hussain Shah.
“While MQM is part of government, today Altaf Hussain is silent over excesses being committed against Sindh. Its islands are sold and doors of employment in multi-national companies for Sindhi speaking people have been shut and despite that Altaf Hussain consider Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and late GM Syed as his leaders “, he said.
However, he said, majority of Urdu speaking population also wanted liberation of Sindh and added that they joined the caravan in various areas in large number.
