HYDERABAD: S. Korean firm to start bus service in Sindh

HYDERABAD, March 30: A South Korean company would launch a modern bus service between Hyderabad and Karachi in June this year, it was agreed upon between District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil and representatives of Summi Daewoo, the Korean company in a meeting on Friday.

The company would also construct a bus terminal outside the city and start a shuttle service to pick passengers from the city to the bus terminal.

The delegation comprising the company’s director development Jung Gyu, director operation Sohail Ahmed and manager survey Mazhar Hussain told the nazim that in the second phase, a similar bus service would be introduced up to Sukkur, Islamabad and Lahore.—Bureau
