KARACHI, March 29: Wajihuddin hit a superb unbeaten century to spur Nazimabad Gymkhana into the quarter-finals of the KCCA Inter Club cricket tournament, thrashing Malir Companion Cricket Club by 132 runs at the TMC Ground here on Wednesday.
Wajihuddin struck 13 boundaries and a six in his 116 while Faraz smashed an unbeaten knock of 94 as Nazimabad Gymkhana posted 237-3 in the stipulated 40 overs and later dismissed their opponents for 105 in 23 overs to reach the last-eight stage.
Meanwhile, Tapal Cricket Club outclassed New United Gymkhana by six wickets to enter the quarter-finals at the Student Ground.
