BANNU, March 28: A shutter-down strike was observed here on Wednesday in protest against the killing of four people. Although, local traders’ association had withdrawn its strike call given on Tuesday, almost all major markets remained closed.

Two brothers, Saeed and Imran, and their employee Yasir were killed when some people fired on them in their shop on Tuesday. The assailants also killed a rickshaw driver, Umer Niaz, who refused to ride them.

ROCKETS FIRED: Two rockets landed in the city area early Wednesday morning, partially damaging a house. One rocket hit the Qazi Mohib Hockey Stadium and the second hit a house in the Munshian locality.
