KARACHI: Coast guards arrest 29 aliens

KARACHI, March 26: The Pakistan Coast Guards have arrested 29 suspected illegal immigrants, including four Afghans, for attempting to cross Pakistan’s border into Iran. Officials said here on Monday that coast guard officers apprehended the aliens during night patrolling along the Coastal Highway. They said the jobseekers were destined for onward journey to the Gulf and European countries. The officials said a special interrogation team of coast guards was questioning the suspects, who would be later handed over to FIA immigration authorities for further legal action.
