PESHAWAR, March 24: The government on Saturday transferred the political agent of the Khyber Agency with immediate effect.

A notification issued by the NWFP Establishment and Administration Department said Dr Tashfeen Khan’s services had been placed at the disposal of the Planning and Development Department for further posting.

The notification said Syed Amirud-Din Shah had been appointed as new political agent of the agency.
