LAHORE, March 17: Fine bowling by Tahir Mughal and Mansoor Amjad followed by an unbeaten knock by Qaiser Abbas guided National Bank to an eight-wicket win over Pakistan Customs in the first round of ABN-Amro One-day Patron’s Cup cricket at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Saturday.

Medium-fast Tahir (3-26) and leg-spinner Mansoor (3-28) bundled out Customs for 144 in 47 overs.

Qaiser then hit a 101-ball 72 as the bankers achieved the target in 34.4 overs for the loss of Salman Butt (38, four fours) and skipper Naumanullah (12). Qaiser cracked one six and seven boundaries.
