“It reflects nervousness of the rulers, who have resorted to coercion to defend their point of view,” he added.
He expressed sympathies with the “inactive” chief justice and pledged to continue supporting him till “complete freedom of the judiciary.”
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf would stand by the legal fraternity in every crisis, come what may. He also demanded immediate release of all party workers arrested in different cities of the country.
The government would be held responsible if any harm was done to them, he warned.
