LAHORE, March 10: Asghar Ali of the NWFP on Saturday defeated Kazim of Balochistan as seven fights were decided on the opening day of the Inter-provincial Under-17 boxing championship.

Results:

46kg: Imran Ali (Balochistan) bt Nauman (NWFP); Haris Khan (NWFP) bt Sibtain (Balochistan).

52kg: Kashif (Punjab) bt Dilawar (NWFP); Yasir Mahmood (Punjab) got walkover.

54kg: Sajid Ali (NWFP) bt Asad Ali (Balochistan).

57kg: Shahbaz Umar (Punjab) bt Rahmat Ali (Balochistan).
