PWF announces activity calendar

LAHORE, March 9: The Pakistan Wushu Federation (PWF) has finalised a hectic activity schedule for the year 2007-08 on Friday.

The schedule comprises seven championships for men, juniors and women and a several training camps and courses.

The 14th national championship will be held from Nov 12-16 at Quetta while the 2nd national ranking championship will be staged at Islamabad from Sept 20-24.

The 5th national women championship, allotted to Faisalabad, will start from Nov 11.

Schedule:

April 9: 31st National Wushu technical referees course, Karachi.

April 9-14: National Games, Karachi.

April 12-17: 1st Children basic training camp, Lahore.

June 15-30: 1st U-17 Wushu training camp, Lahore.

July 1-15: Summer training camp, Abbottabad.

Aug 25-29: 32nd National technical referee/judges course, Islamabad.

Sept 20-24: 2nd National ranking championship.

Oct 1-15: U-13 training camp.

Nov 12-16: 14th National championship, Quetta.

Nov 11: 5th women National championship, Faisalabad.

Nov 20-Dec 10: 2nd Women basic training camp, Lahore.

Dec 10 to 25: 13th Men training camp, Lahore.

Jan 10-20: 1st National coaches course, Islamabad.

2008:

Feb 221-22: 6th Women national championship, Lahore.

March 25-29: 33rd National technical referees/judges course Islamabad.

April 5-20: 2nd Children basic training camp, Lahore.

May 10-30: 2nd Women basic Wushu training camp, Lahore.

June 4-8: 2nd National Wushu coaches course, Islamabad.

June 15-30: 14th men Wushu training camp, Lahore.
