BAHAWALPUR, March 8: The Lahore High Court’s Bahawalpur bench on Wednesday restored the board of management (BoM) of the Bahawal Victoria

Hospital/Quaid-i-Azam Medical College.

The board was dissolved by the Punjab government last month — three months ahead of the expiry of its four-year term.

The order was issued by Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali on a writ petition filed by Dr Rafi Qamar, a member of the dissolved BoG.

With the court orders, all the board members namely Dr Rafi Qamar, Dr Luqman Ali, Dr Bilqees Nawaz, Chaudhry Muhammed Amin and Chairman Justice Muhammed Sindhar (retired) stand restored.
