QUETTA, Feb 27: A woman has sought help from the chief justice of the Balochistan High Court and provincial police officer to get an FIR registered against the killers of her husband.
Speaking at a press conference at the press club on Tuesday, Abida, of Dhadar area in Bolan district, alleged that her husband Mohammad Yaqoob had been killed by her stepson and brother-in-law on Feb 18, but the police officials concerned were not registering the FIR.
She said that the killers wanted to seize her husband’s property.
She claimed that the killers wanted her to vacate her husband’s house in Quetta and threatened her that her daughters would be kidnapped, if she lodged a report with police.
Ms Abida appealed to the BHC chief justice and the provincial police officer to provide her protection and justice because she was feeling insecure owing to the threats and order the officials of the police station concerned to register the FIR.
