NOWSHERA, Feb 25: A motorcyclist was killed and his companion was injured when a bus hit them near Rashakai on the Mardan road on Sunday. The two men were going from Mardan to Nowshera.

When they reached Rashakai, a bus hit them, killing Hafiz Kifayatullah on the spot and injuring Nisar Khan.

Hafiz Kifayatullah had got married a couple of days ago.

The driver sped away after the accident.

Police registered a case against the unidentified driver and started search for him.

MAN ROBBED: A man was robbed of cash and two mobile phone sets at gunpoint in the Muslim town in Nowshera cantt on Saturday evening.

Ghulam Hussain, who is a judge’s servant in Peshawar, was going to his village in the evening when he was stopped by unidentified gunmen.

They deprived Hussain of cash, mobile sets and other things.
