KARACHI, Feb 25: Sindh Minister for Industry and Trade Mohammad Adil Siddiqui has said that Pakistan and Turkey have the status of trade gateway to international markets, including those of Middle East and Central Asian States, and both the countries could get access to these markets by boosting mutual ties.

He was talking to Turkish Consul General Erdem Mataf in his office here on Saturday.

The minister apprised the envoy of the progress made in the trade and industry sector and the ongoing development projects in province. He said that the day was not far when Karachi would be among the developed and modern cities of the world.

Mr Mataf assured Mr Siddiqui that he would play his due role in convincing Turkish investors to make investments in Karachi. The two sides expressed their pleasure that their counties enjoyed cordial bilateral relations, and vowed to strengthen them further.—PPI
