HYDERABAD, Oct 19: A demonstration was held at the Zeal Pak Cement Factory, SITE area, after Juma prayers to protest against American attacks on Afghanistan and allowing the American forces to use Pakistani air bases against Afghanistan. Addressing the rally, the PASBAN leaders, Jamshed Ali Gaddi, Mansha Hassan Raja, Khalid Mehmood and others sarcastically said that they were ready to “welcome American land forces in Afghanistan”.

They said that by invading Afghanistan, America had challenged the entire Muslim world and added that the Mujahideen would teach America the same lesson, which they had taught to USSR.

Criticising the policies of the Pakistani rulers, they said that the government should formulate policies keeping in view the feelings and sentiments of 140 million people of Pakistan. They pledged to support the people of Afghanistan.
