KHAIRPUR, Feb 17: A man was shot dead by his rivals in Mehrab Khan Jatoi village in the jurisdiction of Baradi Jatoi police station.

Reports said that armed men attacked Mehrab Khan Jatoi village late on Friday night and opened fire on the house of Rehan Jatoi who died instantly. The attackers fled.

The body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem on Saturday.

The motive behind the murder is said to be a dispute between two groups over a piece of agriculture land.
