ISLAMABAD, Feb 13: Pakistan on Tuesday welcomed the agreement reached at the six-nation talks in Beijing under which North Korea is to take the first steps towards nuclear disarmament, says a TV report.

“The six-party agreement would help in eliminating the confrontation in East Asia,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told PTV.—APP
