PESHAWAR: Bombing on Afghanistan condemned

PESHAWAR, Oct 19: City district assembly strongly condemned the US and its allies for air strikes on the innocent people of Afghanistan and demanded an immediate halt to the attacks.

In the Friday session of the city district assembly held here at the Archives hall, through a resolution presented by Nawab Khattak, Nazim Hayatabad town strongly condemned the US air strikes and demanded of the US and their allies to immediately stop these attacks.

The resolution prepared by Ibadat Ullah, Dr Israr Ullah and Nawab Khattak further said that air strikes were a form of terrorism and this was not the solution of terrorism.

Nawab Khattak said that US should search for the root causes of terrorism and remove the cause of the ‘disease’.

In another resolution the assembly condemned the Indian aggression on the Pakistan territory and warned US that Pakhtoons of this region know how to defend their territory.—PPI
