PESHAWAR, Feb 10: NWFP Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Sardar Mohammad Idrees has said that streamlining the Citizens Community Boards (CCBs) is the need of the hour to ensure transparency and timely completion of development schemes.

Talking to a delegation of local government representatives of Mardan at his office here, the minister urged public representatives to create awareness and motivate the masses for establishing Citizens Community Boards at the city, town, village and even Mohallah levels.

He said it was essential to create a sense of participation among people and maintain the pace of development.—PPI
