Aamir Atlas in quarter-finals

KARACHI, Feb 9: Pakistan's Aamir Atlas Khan sailed into quarter-finals of the Swedish Open squash championship by registering a straight 3-0 win over local player at Linkoping, Sweden on Thursday.

According to details of the US$31,250 event, the Peshawar based world No36 outclassed Christian Drakenberg 11-7, 11-9, 11-6 in 31 minutes.

Aamir, who has been seeded eight in the tournament, will meet world No8 Karim Darwish of Egypt in the quarter-final.
