BAHAWALPUR, Feb.7: Police claimed to have recovered on Wednesday a five-year-old girl, Kiran, from Karachi, who was abducted from Islami Colony over one-and-a-half months ago. The abductor was also held.

A Supreme Court bench had last week directed the Baghdadul Jadid police to recover the girl within a month.

According to the police, Kiran was allegedly abducted by three women and a man on Dec 11, 2006. — Correspondent
